THE ARCHDEACON

The Venerable Nelson Adewole the Archdeacon attended Immanuel College of theology, Ibadan and was ordained in 1996.
-
He served curacy at St. Paul's church, Ado- Ekiti Diocese.

He was Vicar to many parishes in the Dioceses of Ekiti and Ekiti Oke.

He became a Canon of the Cathedral of St Andrew's Usi- Ekiti in 2006 and was later prefered Archdeacon of Ido Ekiti in 2007.

He is a graduate of Comparative Religion of the University of Ilorin, Ilorin Nigeria.

He attended many other courses in Church Administration and management at the Anglican Centre in Rome, Italy.

He is a member of the Lausanne Movement, he participated in the Third Lausanne Congress on World Evangelization in Collaboration with the World Evangelical Alliance In Cape-Town, S.A.

In 2012 he attended the Advance Course in Church Ministry at the Ecumenical Centre, Agbarha-Otor, Delta State, Nigeria.

He later served as the Archdeacon of the Cathedral Church of St Andrew, Usi Ekiti from 2008 - 2011 before his transfer to the Cathedral Church of St. James Ota in 2012.

He has been a member of the Church of Nigeria Standing Committee since 2007 and also a member of the Church of Nigeria General Synod since 2008.

He is happily married to Mrs Grace Adewole.
THE ASSISTANT PRIEST

Rev. Chris Olu Ajayi, was born over three decades ago at Ogbagi in Akoko North West LGA, Ondo State.

He trained for the ordained ministry at Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure, where he obtained a Diploma in Religious Studies at the University of Ibadan (2011), Certificate in Language and Ministerial Studies of Crowther Graduate Theology Seminary, Abeokuta (2012) and a Diploma in Theology at Archbishop Vining College of Theology, Akure (2013).

He enjoys reading, singing, meeting people and listening to classical music and traditional church hymns, canticles and Christian high life music.

He plays, string, reed instruments & organ.

He believes that everyone is important to God and that everyone should be treated with respect, irrespective of age, gender, race or creed.

He was ordained by The lord Bishop of the Diocese of Awori; Rt. Rev. Dr. J. Akin Atere on 16th June, 2013 (His birthday) and posted as an assisting priest in Saint Peter's Anglican Church, Konifewo, Ota, and Vicar of Anglican Church, Soromidayo Avenue, Ilemijan, Ota. 1st July, 2013 – 2nd November, 2015.

He is currently serving at Cathedral Church of St. James’ Ipate Oyinbo, Otta,as an assisting Priest and Vicar at St. Matthias’ Anglican Church, Navy Road, Otta.

Rev'd Olu Ajayi is happily married to his beautiful wife and friend Mrs. Banke Olu Ajayi (nee Adebayo). The marriage is blessed with AyoOluwa.
