CATHEDRAL DAY
Cathedral Day is almost here Come One! Come All there will be variety of programs specially designed to commiserate this event, Starting form the 25th of July 2016, which is Liturgically the St James's Day.
Day 1
This anniversary will be a week long event starting on Monday 25th of July 2016 @ 5:00PM with an Holy Communion service to commit us to the protection of the lord as the event starts.
The Holy Communion Service will be coordinated by the Archdeacon.
Day 2
Day 2 the 26th of July 2016 of will kick off by 4:00 pm with community outreach and brigade rally, it promises to be interesting.
There will be house to house witnessing, we will be sharing the gospel with the community, watch out we may just witness to your home and I pray God will be with you.
The outreach will be coordinated by the Brigade Captains, Youth president and Cathedral Evangelism committee.
Day 3
On Wednesday the 27th of July 2016 there will be an Open Air Crusade in the Cathedral Church of St James, it will start by 6:00 pm.
This service will be conducted by Cathedral Evangelism Committee and the crusade lesson taken by Rev'd David Abas & Cathedral Priests.
Day 4
On Thursday, 28th of July 2016 we will be hosting a diocesan event which is organised by a subsidiary of Google, they are organizing a free training on Internet usage and its usefulness.
This will start at 10:00am it will be a four hour long training program.
On the same day Thursday, 28th of July 2016 there will be an all day clinical check up to determines ones vitals , height, weight, BMI, Glucose level) and HIV and Malaria tests for free, come and know your status it is better to know now than when it is too late.
There will also be free drugs and diagnosis, there will be interaction sessions with medical professionals. Come for this Medical Evangelism.
DAY 5
Cathedral Day lecture by seasoned historians, this will commence at exactly 4:00pm and end at about 6:00pm on the 29th of July 2016.
A praise night will also hold from 10:00 pm the same day, come and worship the almighty with all you've got thanking him for his provision and what he has done and what he has not done yet.
DAY 6
Day 6 the the 30th of July 2016 is Youth day, Widows' Fellowship and Couples forum a day to enlighten the Youths on what to expect in Marriage and various talks for the Youth, so all Cathedral Youth come in mass so you will not miss this great opportunity to learn.
DAY 7
Thank you Lord the Cathedral Day anniversary will finally end on the 31st of July 2016 @ the Cathedral Church of St. James it will be a day of thanksgiving and also a combined service where we will thank the lord for his mercies and kindness through out the whole program.
